What are the types of hose clamps?

Words like pliers, wrench, and even hammer may appear frequently in a layman's life. However, there are several terms that aren't commonly used but are often used in the mechanical world. Clamps are one of them. Clamps are one of the most crucial parts of the machinery world.  They're used to tighten hoses, bind clamps, and keep them in one location. They're also utilized in plumbing and high-end vehicle engines to withstand high pressure, high temperatures, and turbo forces. Aside from being a leading constant tension band clamp distributor, turbo clamps distributor, and no hub couplings manufacturer, we at Jolly clamps are also a leading hose clamp manufacturer and hose clamp suppliers.

The following are the types of hose clamps:

Ear Clamps:

These clamps are useful in situations where the fittings will only be done once. They are stainless steel bands with ears on the end projections. These clamp ears are tightened on the hose tubes with clamp pliers, which are used to bend the clamp ears and permanently secure them. Ear clamps have quite narrow bands.

Screw Clamps:

These clamps are frequently used in domestic plumbing. They are a more advanced type of ear clamps since they have a screw at the end of the band that allows the clamp to be released or tightened as needed. The bands are thicker than the ear clamps in comparison. SS Worm drive hose clamps are another name for screw clamps.

Wire clamps:

Unlike ear clamps and screw clamps, which feature stainless steel strips, wire clamps are solid and heavy steel strips. The middle of these rings is split off, and the ends are separated by flat projections with holes for a nut and screw to slide through to tighten the clamp.

Spring Clamps:

Spring clamps are made to withstand high pressure and temperatures. They're made of medium carbon steel and have a lot of flexibility when it comes to expansion and contraction. In the automobile industry, spring clamps are widely used. Jolly hose Clamp stands out as one of the finest quality hose clamps.
