The following are the types of hose clamps:

Ear Clamps:

These clamps are useful in situations where the fittings will only be done once. They are stainless steel bands with ears on the end projections. These clamp ears are tightened on the hose tubes with clamp pliers, which are used to bend the clamp ears and permanently secure them. Ear clamps have quite narrow bands.

Screw Clamps:


These clamps are frequently used in domestic plumbing. They are a more advanced type of ear clamps since they have a screw at the end of the band that allows the clamp to be released or tightened as needed. Wire clamps:
